Thomas Ho, JP
Chief Executive

Thomas became Chief Executive in 2005, having served as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Gammon since 1999. He joined the Company in 1997.

Thomas is currently a non-official member of the Town Planning Board. He was the former chairman of the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre, as well as the Pneumoconiosis Compensation Fund Board. He was also the former President of Hong Kong Construction Association.

Executive Director – Civil, Lambeth

C C has been with Gammon since 1988. With over 25 years of experience, he has broad range of recognised capabilities in civil projects. He is a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineer and Authorised Signatory in Site Formation category with Buildings Department. He was appointed Director in 2014 and Executive Director in 2017, and now heads civil operations as well as Lambeth, the engineering consultancy unit of Gammon in Hong Kong

Executive Director – Foundations, Construction Services

CC has been with Gammon since 1997, he was appointed Director in 2016 and Executive Director in 2018. With over 30 years of experience, CC now manages Gammon’s foundations business as well as construction services in Hong Kong, namely concrete services, steel fabrication and plant & equipment.

Edmond Lai
Executive Director – Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Gammon Shenzhen

Edmond is Executive Director of Gammon, responsible for the overall leadership of the Company's human resources, administration and corporate communications functions. In addition, he heads Gammon Shenzhen, a strategic resource centre supporting the Company's business growth in Asia. Edmond has solid experience in leading HR services, organisation development and talent management in Asia.

Patricia Or
Executive Director – Finance, Risk Management, Information Management, Gammon Capital

Patricia joined Gammon in 2005 and was appointed Finance Director in 2014. She became Executive Director in 2015 and responsible for the Company’s finance, risk management, information management services and Gammon Capital. Prior to Gammon, she held a number of senior financial positions with Jardines in Hong Kong.

Gilbert Tsang
Executive Director – Building, E&M, Interiors, China

Gilbert joined the Company and was appointed Director in 2008. He was appointed Executive Director in 2011 and is now overseeing building, E&M, interiors operations in Hong Kong as well as business development in China. He has extensive expertise in building services systems of subways, road tunnels, commercial buildings, hotel developments and residential buildings. Gilbert is the President of The Hong Kong E&M Contractors’ Association and Vice President of The Hong Kong Federation of Electrical and Mechanical Contractors.

Patrick Hou
Director – Foundations

Patrick joined the Company in 1994 and was appointed Director in 2017. He has wide range of foundation experience and is now responsible for managing foundation operations in Hong Kong. Patrick is an Authorised Signatory of Specialist Contractor in the Foundation Works Category with Buildings Department.

Ashley Howlett
Director - General Counsel & Company Secretary

Ashley was appointed Director in 2015. He oversees the Legal Department covering governance, legal advice, compliance, insurance and company secretarial services. Ashley has over 27 years’ experience in the legal profession specialising in construction and engineering issues connected with infrastructure and major projects. Ashley previously worked in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong and has for the past 20 years been involved in advising on construction projects throughout Asia. Prior to joining Gammon he was a partner and head of the Asian construction practice for a major international law firm.

Ian Askew
Director – Lambeth, Innovations, Virtual Design and Construction

Ian was appointed Director in 2015 after having served as the General Manager of Lambeth, the engineering consultancy unit of the Gammon Group, since 2010. Ian joined the Company in 1997. He is responsible for managing Lambeth Associates operations and the Company innovation, virtual design and construction development. He is also a founder of the Temporary Works Forum in Hong Kong and sits on a number of industry panels.

Sandy Bryceland
Director - Commercial

Sandy is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years building and civil engineering experience gained in the United Kingdom, Middle East and Far East of which 15 years have been spent in Hong Kong on a variety of complex airport, highways and railway projects. He joined Gammon in 2014 and led the commercial function in the Civils Division prior to taking over his current role in 2019.

Jon Button
Director - Singapore

Jon has a wide range of experience in both building and civil engineering and has been resident in Hong Kong and Singapore for the last 38 years. Jon has been a Council Member of the Singapore Contractors Association where he was Chairman of the Productivity & Technology Committee. He sits on the BCA Construction Productivity Centre Advisory Panel, is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is a Senior Member of the Singapore Institution of Engineers.

Percy Chan
Director - Building

Percy joined Gammon as a graduate trainee in 1987 and was appointed Director in 2017. In his career of over 30 years, he has managed a wide range of building projects. He is an Authorized Signatory in the Category of Registered General Building Contractor with the Buildings Department and is now managing building operations in Hong Kong.

Kennedy Cheung
Director – Civil

Kennedy has been with Gammon since 1978. With over 30 years of experience, he was appointed Director in 2007, and currently manages civil operations in Hong Kong.

Horace Chu
Director – Information Management

Horace was appointed Director and Chief Information Officer in 2017. With over 25 years of experience, he served a number of senior technology roles in Gammon and Jardines. Horace is responsible for the formation and execution of the Group’s overall digital information strategy. He also actively serves various boards and committees in the IT industry.

Paul Evans
Director - E&M

Paul has over 35 years’ extensive multi-disciplinary design and construction project management experience in Hong Kong, Macau and the United Kingdom. Before Gammon, he held senior leadership roles for large-scale building, civil infrastructure, specialist MEP works, hospital and healthcare projects in Hong Kong and luxury 5-star design and build hotel and casino projects in Macau. Paul joined Gammon as Director in 2019 and is currently overseeing the special projects sector of the E&M division.

Brian Gowran
Director – Civil

Brian joined the company in 2004. Prior to Gammon, he was with Balfour Beatty and was placed under international assignment to work on projects in Hong Kong. Over the years, Brian has experience in managing and successfully delivering various challenging railway and airport infrastructure projects. He was appointed Director in 2019 and is now overseeing civil engineering operations in Hong Kong.

Sammy Lai
Director – Building

Sammy started his career in project planning and subsequently developed into a full-fledged project leader through a number of challenging and technically complex building projects. Sammy’s project delivery capability has been highly regarded by the clients and the industry, he was recognised with the Excellent Award for Construction Manager at CIC’s Sustainable Construction Award in 2018. Sammy was appointed Director in 2019 and is responsible for managing the building operations in Hong Kong.

Banson Lam
Director – E&M

Banson became a member of the company in 2004 when Balfour Beatty’s Hong Kong operations merged with Gammon’s. He was appointed General Manager of E&M in 2016 and Director in 2017. He has been working in E&M field for over 25 years and has ample experience in managing mega scale E&M projects. He is now overseeing the business of E&M division in Hong Kong and Macau.

Jenny Pong
Director – Human Resources

Jenny joined Gammon in 2019 as the Director overseeing human resources, administration and corporate communications functions, as well as the Shenzhen branch office. Jenny has more than 20 years of HR experience gained from various industries including management consulting, airline and financial services. Before Gammon, she held a number of senior HR positions across the region, including Group Director - Human Resources of JTH Group (a member of the Jardine Matheson Group). In addition to talent acquisition, talent management and employee relations, Jenny focuses a lot on organisation development and employee experience.

Tony Small
Director – Health & Safety, Sustainability, Systems & Audit

Tony joined the Company as Operations Head of H&S in 2010 and was appointed Director in 2011. He currently heads the functions of Health & Safety, Sustainability, Systems & Audit. Before joining Gammon Tony held a number of senior safety positions with Balfour Beatty.

Tony Wong
Director – Building

Tony has been with Gammon since 1998 and was appointed Director in 2018. He has over 25 years of experience in site operations, project management as well as business management; and has solid track record in delivering challenging building projects. Looking after the building operations in Hong Kong, he is also responsible for driving the growth of interior and Macau businesses.
